Central Carolina Technical College's 400 Building

With $1 million in Penny for Progress funding and $750,000 from the state of South Carolina, Central Carolina Technical College's 400 Building saw many upgrades. A $38,610 rebate in energy efficiency from Duke Energy was also part of the overall total.

A sprinkler and fire protection system was added to the entire building and LED lighting was installed in the majority of the building as well. Natural gas and exhaust were also added to this facility, which serves as the school's Industrial Engineering site.

Two restrooms were renovated, a new restroom was added and emergency exit stairs were installed to bring the building up to code. The main seminar room saw the entrance and interior undergo a renovation as well.

The school is completing additional painting and computer lab upgrades using the Duke funds.
