"Second Burn Site Opened"

The City of Sumter and Sumter County has opened a second "Burn Site" location available for wood debris only. The second Burn Site is located on 521 South beyond “TNN Septic Tank”. Turn right into the New Pocotaligo Industrial Park site.

As a reminder the first site made available was at Airport road and Brewington road next to the Sumter Airport. There will be directional signs at both locations to guide you to the Burn Sites.

Please note: South Guignard and 521 is not a Burn Site, so please do not dump in that location.

The Burn Sites are open Monday through Saturday daylight to dark.

"First Burn Site Opened"

The City of Sumter and Sumter County has the first Burn Site location available for yard clean up, other locations will be released as they are made available.

The Burn Site is located at Airport road and Brewington road next to the Sumter Airport.

There will be directional signs set up to guide you to the Burn Site location.

If you have a contractor clean up your yard, have them haul the debris to the designated Burn Site for proper disposal.

In the City, the City of Sumter Public Service crews will continue to maintain and clear streets and provide passage ways for our Citizens.
