All City of Sumter and Sumter County Government offices will operate on a normal schedule on Monday, September 17, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
All City parks and services and all branches of County Government will resume on a normal schedule on Monday as well.
Sumter School District will also be reopening on Monday.
According to Sumter County Emergency Management Director Erik Hayes, the two schools that served as shelters – Mayewood Middle School and Sumter High School – have zero occupants and are now closed.
Sumter County’s Emergency Operations Center closed at noon today.
