Historic Walk of Central Downtown Sumter.
129 South Harvin Street. Two and 1/5 Miles.
The Historic Walk of Central Downtown Sumter begins at Sumter’s James E. Clyburn Intermodal Transportation Center, located in the old, historic Moise Warehouse building at 129 South Harvin Street. The building, originally started as a manufacturing company, built in 1899, is the regional headquarters of the Santee Wateree Regional Transportation Authority, where a terminal of Southeastern Stages (Grey-hound), is located. It is the largest restoration project and the first of its kind to be completed by a regional transportation authority in the state.
