The Sumter County Parks and Recreation Department offers Sumter County as a golfer's paradise. With several courses in Sumter County, and over 20 more within one hour's drive, Sumter County and the surrounding areas provide plenty of opportunities for golfing enthusiasts.
Unhurried, uncrowded and unbelievably priced, the area courses offer a challenge to golfers of every skill level, and our mild four-season climate ensures that the greens are always in nice condition.
Crystal Lakes
Crystal Lakes is our municipal course located at 1305 Clara Louise Kellogg Dr., adjacent to Dillon Park. The course design will reward good shots and provide a fun golf outing for everyone.
A pro shop, snack bar, putting green, driving range, carts, lessons and club rentals round out the facilities.
Originally designed as a 9-hole course by Ed Riccoboni, the course was expanded to 18-holes with additional architecture work by Wayne Chappel. Crystal Lakes is located at 1305 Clara Louise Kellogg Drive.
