Highway 15 South Corridor Improvements

The intersection of US 15 South and Manning Avenue has been identified as confusing and unsafe for both motorists and pedestrians. Several roads intersect at this location, and access ramps blend with businesses in the roadway. Improvements will include new crosswalks, reduction

of encroachments, median relocation, lane delineation and traffic signal upgrades. A new median will be constructed and landscaped to serve as a Southern gateway to the city.

Currently about 23,000 vehicles per day flow through this area, including many trucks.
