Event Description: 

Morris College will celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. at 10 a.m. on Jan. 11 as part of the 2018 Presidential Information Session. The keynote speaker will be Sheyann Webb Christburg, a Civil Rights activist and native of Selma, Alabama. She is an author, humanitarian and recipient of the Congressional Gold Medal, awarded by President Obama. Also speaking will be Morris College student Emmanuel Lee, a junior who won the 2017 statewide Oratorical Contest winner for Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. Belford V. Lawson Oratorical Contest. This event is free and open to the public.
